On the occasion of the visit to Italy of Mother General Li Yalou and two nuns from the congregation of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1923 in China with the support of Blessed Armida and the Female Youth of AC, it was organized in Milan, at the University of the Sacred Heart a study seminar to talk about Armida Barelli and the Benedict XV Institute in China.

Promoters of the initiative are the Confucius Institute, the Italian Catholic Action, the University of the Sacred Heart, the ISM, the Giuseppe Toniolo Institute.

After greetings from Mons. Giuliodori, General Assistant of UCSC and ACI, Dr. Enrico Fusi, General Secretary of the Toniolo Institute and Dr. Silvia Landra, ACI regional delegate, prof. Agostino Giovagnoli will give a talk on “Benedict XVI and missionary renewal“; Prof. Elisa Maria Giunipero will talk about the “CCatholic church in China in the 1920s and 1930s“; p. Gianni Criveller will focus on "Presence of religious congregations in China".
